This is the second time in a week I come across this idea: the other day I was reading the ZenHabits newsletter, and it said something along the lines of ‘leadership is about imagining another world is possible, and then inviting others to join you in creating it’.
Building capacities is a long term game, and it’s a shift in mindset from simply following an aspirational mission statement.
Building a co-creation culture also can be radically confronting, because it challenges our emotional intelligence; in order to invite another to genuinely co-create with you, you have to be open to them taking radical responsibility for their choices.
